Better late then never....

I posted this as a comment the other day... but here it is again.... This Blogging larky takes a little time to sort out!

have been avoiding Julia in the corridors. Why? Well, I have been somewhat tardy in jumping into blog space (I am not alone in that!). But better late than never.

Those of you interested in Modern British artists there is an exhibition in the Foss Fine Art gallery (113b Northcote Road), with works from Sir Peter Blake, Sandra Blow, Terry Frost and Bruce McLean. For those unfamiliar with Blake he was responsible for the album cover of Sergeant Pepper. The exhibition has some interesting pieces, and it is always good to support local galleries. If you do pop in ask for a look at the map clothing from Elisabeth Lecort, which are great.

Also this weekend (21st-22nd June) there is an open day at the Denmark Place Artists Studios, 47a Coldharbour Lane SE5. Jan Malaszek (PSAD lecturer) is one of the artists giving access to his studio space.
